Year 11 and 12 Coordinator’s Message

Dear Parents and Students,

As this is the first edition of our school newsletter, I would like to welcome you to the new school year. To our returning students in Years 11 and 12, welcome back! To our new students starting their journey with us from IDC and from other schools, welcome to Meadow Fair Campus and to your final years of secondary school.

At this stage in the term, all of our senior students are settling in well and they are continuing to develop the rigorous study habits required to achieve academic success at VCE level.

For all VCE students, this year began with a robust discussion regarding the school's expectations as well as reflecting on the cohort's many strengths and some areas for improvement. Our students in years 11 and 12 now fully recognize that they represent our school’s final product, and that they are expected to conduct themselves in a way that clearly projects our school values both to younger year levels, as well as to the broader community. In 2021, the focus for our senior students is the pursuit of excellence, both in terms of their academic achievements and their character development. I am confident that these young men will rise to the challenge of becoming a cohort who distinguish themselves through their honesty, integrity, respectfulness and courtesy.

I wish all students a rewarding and safe year and I extend a warm invitation to parents and guardians to contact me, to discuss any matter concerning their son’s school life. I also encourage parents to make contact with each of their son’s subject teachers, in order to establish a strong line of communication between you and your son's teachers.

Regards
Mr. Michael Kapadia
Year 11 and 12 Coordinator
